About Me

Welcome to my web site!

I have been a Dallas resident for 18 years; first in Addison, then Uptown, then Cedar Hill, and now downtown. I grew up on the western slope of Colorado; if asked, I'll tell you "I got here as quick as I could". Actually, college brought me to Texas and I fell in love with the state and the people.

I spent twelve years at one of the now "Big Four" accounting Firms (when I was first hired, it was the "Big Eight") as a regional Information Technology Director before I transitioned into real estate. My lengthy background in finance and technology equipped me solidly for today's real estate world and the net-savvy buyers and sellers.

More than 80% of potential home buyers and sellers start on the internet, and more than 90% of those people continue on to seek the services of a REALTOR®. Technology enables consumers to enter the home buying or selling process more educated than ever before; and as a result, people also realize the high value in having a professional representing them in every important real estate area.

I am a REALTOR® (not just an agent) - a REALTOR® is a member of the local Board with specific, required annual legal and ethics training and regular dues. I am committed to the highest standards of client service, I know Dallas and the market, and I have the expertise to deliver successful transactions with well proven business management and communication skills. As a multi-million dollar producer, I have been featured in the real estate section of the Dallas Morning News and was nominated as one of D Magazine's "Best Real Estate Agents". I write a weekly article for the Dallas Examiner and have participated in a popular real estate television show. However, "the proof is in the pudding" - I am always pleased to provide my clients and prospective clients with my statistical real estate transaction success information, and how those numbers compare to the DFW averages as a whole. I invite you to visit the testimonials page of this web site; the most powerful acknowledgments of success are the comments and referrals from my clients.

I am involved and connected to the community through my commitment to the American Cancer Society, the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the American Diabetes Association, the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation and the Baylor Alumni Association. My non-real estate passions include mountain biking, snow skiing, wine, beer, the arts, and traveling - but I particularly love spending time with my sister, brother-in-law, nephews, my multitude of Irish cousins and my valued friends.
